The name Larimar is derived from the aqua-colored healing stones indigenous to the Caribbean, which reminds guests of cool sea waters and warm sunny breezes for which Aruba is known.

A $5.2 million investment and the most comprehensive spa on the island, the Larimar Spa offers a full menu of services in nine separate treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art Fitness Center facing the sea and a full-service salon. The Larimar Spa is a stand-alone structure, contemporary in design featuring breakout areas that include a central courtyard and private terraces. Earth tones are used throughout including natural green, tan and off-white hues for the interior and orange, brown and blue for the exterior. Signature treatments incorporate elements indigenous to Aruba including Local Aloe, Black Beach Stones, Seroe Quarts Crystal and Palmera Rum.
