Quota International of Aruba is ready for its 21st annual seminar, with Denise Marek with the Topic ‘Transform Worry Into Action’. The seminar will take place this Saturday, June 6, 2009, from 1.00 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. at the Renaissance Convention Center. In this seminar Denise Marek will elaborate on several topics that will help us deal with uncertainties, worries and stress. She will share tactics on how to eliminate worry and systematically create positive and lasting changes in attitudes, actions, teamwork, and relationships. This will be very beneficial for our personal lives, as well for businesses.
Although the seminar will not deal only with financial uncertainties, this seminar will give sufficient tools how to deal with the uncertainties about the current economic crisis, the financial circumstances and the worries and stress these create.
Denise Marek, a Canadian, is known as the worry management expert. An international speaker, author of CALM: A Proven Four-Step Process Designed Specifically for Women Who Worry (Hay House, 2006, co-author (with Sharon Quirt) of The Keys Hay House, 2009), and television personality. She has helped thousands of individuals to eliminate worry and systematically create positive and lasting changes in attitudes, actions, teamwork, and relationships.
Denise hit the speaking circuit full-time in 1997. AIG, American Express, Assante Advisory Services, Buffett-Taylor, Canadian Tire, Canada Revenue Agency, Deloitte & Touche, Grand & Toy, Industry Canada, TD Canada Trust, Toyota, and RBC Royal Bank, are among the many corporations and professional groups that have hired Denise to speak at their events. The topic “from Worrier to Warrior” won her in 2001 the Toastmasters Award for Professionalism and Outstanding Achievements in Public Speaking. This award recognizes individuals whose public speaking skills are of the highest professional caliber; only 57 individuals worldwide have received the Accredited Speaker designation.
