Yoga on the beach: Prana Yoga Center recently organized a beach yoga session on the Eagle Beach. The turnout was great and Prana will be organizing the second one on November 25th from 17:00 hrs to 18:15 hrs. It will be free of charge and is a great way to get the family involved and relieve some stress. This free yoga session is scheduled for every 4th Saturday of the month throughout 2007, except when it is raining or when the locals are using the beach for camping which is about 2 weeks prior Easter weekend. The yoga session takes place on the beach in front of Le Dome restaurant on Eagle beach and is open to everyone, locals as well as visitors. World famous Dutch soccer star Johan Cruyff recently inaugurated his special namesake court in Aruba, together with HRH Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands. The Johan Cruyff Court, a small scale turf court can be used to practice a variety of sports, is a gift to Aruba from the Dutch Government. Cruyff’s philosophy was that this smaller court could be used to develop and perfect the players’ soccer techniques.
