The Numismatic Museum Aruba Is Featured In The Magazine

The growth of internet has encouraged museum, collectors, coin dealers, institutions, banks and also many countries that exhibited their money collection online. The question is “how to identify a good Internet Museum? According to the ‘Educational Technology Journal’ (ETJ), a successful virtual museum must offer various parts of their substantial collection to everyone and must be users friendly. The website must provide various opportunities to enter the different presentation of their collection. It must also contain various levels for education in general and can be used by different age groups. Finally the virtual museum must have as main goal; increase the public interest to visit the building of the numismatic museum.

The magazine, The Numismatist, is a well-known world wide magazine with more than a million copies per month and is the official voice of the American Numismatic Association, the largest entity in the world.

Aruba and especially the Numismatic Museum Aruba are very proud to be included in this publication.

ETJ (Educational Technology Journal) selected six virtual museums around the world for their capacity to educate y exhibit:
