Revitalize and restore the spirit at the expanded Intermezzo Day Spa at La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort in Aruba, featuring new treatments and enhanced offerings so guests can enjoy the highest style of pampering in paradise.

The top floor of the two-story spa now features three Balinese lounge beds (which can be used for a Thai massage or simple relaxation) and an attractive Zen garden where guests can find peace and serenity. An outdoor jacuzzi will be added shortly.

New to the spa menu are a Thai massage (a massage done with clothes on, in which the body is carefully stretched under the guidance of a trained therapist) and a hot stone massage (where stones are placed at precise points on the body for maximum relief).

“The expanded offerings at the Intermezzo Day Spa create a more comprehensive spa experience for our guests and provide them with relaxation options beyond the beach and pools,” said Adwina Arends, director of sales and marketing for La Cabana.

The Intermezzo Day Spa is located on the second and third floors of the building adjacent to La Cabana‚s tennis courts (the pro shop is on the first level). Decorated in pale blue, lilac and beige tones, the spa facility features three massage/treatment rooms; one facial room; and a non-body treatment area for manicures and pedicures (all on the second floor).

Of particular note is that the massage rooms are more spacious than the average facility (at approximately 150 square feet per room), plus they feature softer and wider massage beds that are made locally.

Specific treatments available include (but are not limited to) aromatherapy, deep tissue, acu-pressure and reflexology massages; standard, piccolo and di lusso facials (all facials include eye area and lip therapy); aromatherapy, honey and algae body wraps; pumice, fruity and marine salt body scrubs; spa manicures and pedicures; hydrotherapy treatments; and more. Special packages are also available for the true royal treatment.

Personal service is very much a part of the Intermezzo Day Spa experience. All therapists have been certified and trained with the Intermezzo Day Spa signature of style and service. The spa is open Monday to Saturday, 8 am - 8 pm, and Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm.
