Ian Ross Names Aruba Marriott Resort His Home-Away-From-Home

After a $50 million overhaul, beachfront resort the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has received positive guest comments about the hotel’s enhancements.

A recent post on the Orbitz blog by Ian Ross, Vice President of the Eastern Region for the well-known and popular electronic travel channel was a tremendous compliment for the resort. Out of all Caribbean islands and hotels in his portfolio, he mentions “Our Caribbean vacation destination of choice is Aruba. Our beach and home-away-from-home (for five years), is the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino.”

With his family of 4, Ross loves beach vacations and enjoys the Marriott beach area to the fullest. “We think the Marriott has the best, cleanest and biggest beach around. As my son and I can only sit in the sun (even under the famous palapas) for only so long, there are a number of water sport activities, which we take full advantage of”, says Ross on the Orbitz blog.

The renewed Aruba Marriott Resort offers 411 fully equipped guest rooms with the newest technology, Marriott Revive bedding and the most spacious balconies in Aruba. With seven bars & restaurants on property, a free form pool, exclusive Tradewinds Club a-hotel-within-a-hotel, a Balinese-inspired spa, the 24hours excitement of the Stellaris Casino, beach fun and activities (yoga, aquaerobics, zumba, volley, bingo) for everyone, the Aruba Marriott is the playground for all generations. “We feel that it offers something for all of us, in addition to it being very comfortable and spacious”, commented Ian Ross.

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino boasts 411 guest rooms – the most spacious on the island – each with large, private balconies overlooking the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. On property, seven restaurants and cafes provide fare from light to elegant, while the largest casino in Aruba, a 6,500 square-foot spa, free-form swimming pool with cascading waterfalls and high-energy health club offer entertaining diversions. Luxury hotel-within-a-hotel Tradewinds Club is the newest addition to this beachfront resort.
