The "2nd International Executive Forum on Tourism Innovation and Entrepreneurship” will take place at the USC campus in Columbia, SC on August 3rd and 4th 2015. Hosted by the University of South Carolina, in collaboration with the Aruba Management Institute for Sustainable Tourism and Development (AMISTAD) and the University of Aruba, the forum will gather industry leaders, government officials, business entrepreneurs and scholars from the America’s, the Caribbean, and Europe to discuss leadership strategies and business solutions for innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism development.
The international executive forum will explore innovative ways the Americas and the Caribbean can enhance entrepreneurship and tourism development, by examining a number of strategic issues in a series of specialized seminars.
These executive seminars reflect but are not restricted the following main topics: creating shared value for tourism destinations and corporations, enhancing business performance through innovation, collaborating across public and private sectors for tourism innovation, entrepreneurship for tourism community development, conquering new markets with social media innovation and entrepreneurship, crafting business models for increasing tourism competitiveness, and social and technology transformations in tourism and hospitality in the Americas and the Caribbean.
