PPC Poker Tour Heads Back to Aruba for World Championship

The Players Poker Championship (PPC Poker Tour) that hosts US and destination poker events, heads back to the beautiful Radisson Aruba Resort for the 2013 PPC Aruba World Championship.

"Aruba is one of the most naturally beautiful locations a player could visit to play poker and have a great time day or night. Players can look forward to a large-scale event with top level pros for a great “poker-cation”.– Sandy Swartzbaugh, Commissioner for the PPC

PPC Aruba which runs October 2-9, will open with a $550 buy-in, $40,000 guarantee event and close out with a $350 buy-in, $100 player bounty $10,000 guarantee event. All events start at 3pm so players can enjoy the beautiful Aruba beach. The PPC Aruba World Championship, which features a $2,500 buy-in, $200,000 guarantee Main Event is the premier stop on the PPC Poker Tour.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the PPC Aruba World Championship. We are tracking to have at least 50 players satellited into all guaranteed events before we set foot in Aruba. – Bryan Oulton, Commissioner for the PPC

In its second installment, PPC Aruba boasts eight total events with three feature events. Those three feature events all have guarantees worth a total of $250,000. The $2,500 Main Event will run from October 5 through 9. Defending Main Event Champion and 2012 WPT Player of the Year, Joe Serock will be the featured pro. Serock aka “Floes” has over $2 million in career earnings.
