Aruba presents the world’s most popular Beach Tennis Competition, the Divi Aruba Beach Tennis Open 2014.

EAGLE BEACH -- Beach tennis is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and Aruba was the first Caribbean island to embrace the sport. The most famous competition, the Divi Aruba Beach Tennis Open taking place this November 17-23, will now have live streaming on aruba.com. The event is the biggest and most popular beach tennis event held in the world, attracting over 1,000 professional and amateur players from around the globe who come not just for the beach tennis action but also to enjoy the exciting ambiance, music, and events right on the white sands of Eagle Beach.

The Aruba Tourism Authority is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the event and will be exclusively live streaming all of the center court matches (November 20-23) on Aruba’s official website, aruba.com. The International Tennis Federation will host a link to aruba.com with the live streaming of the matches.

A record number of 50 participants are coming from Italy—the birthplace of beach tennis and Brazil, another big player, is sending over 250 participants. With 25 participating countries such as USA, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, Chile, Bermuda, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Curacao, Bonaire, Martinique and St Maarten and newcomers Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Japan and Switzerland, competing on 35 tennis courts, this event certainly is the biggest beach tennis competition of the world!

Visitors and locals are invited to come watch all the action on Eagle Beach! More information on: http://www.aruba.com/things-to-do/divi-aruba-beach-tennis-open and divibeachtennisaruba.com.
