    On Sunday, the local community congregated in Brasil at the third annual Fiesta di Cunucu, a collaboration between Aruba Aloe, Santa Rosa, Muchila creativo, Departamento di Cultura Aruba, Museo Historico, and Monuments Fund to celebrate and preserve Aruba's unique cultural heritage.

    Oranjestad, Aruba – The island of Aruba will once again host filmmakers and film enthusiasts from around the world during the fifth annual Aruba International Film Festival (AIFF), Oct. 7-11. Kicking off with a short film and Q&A session with actor Tyrese Gibson (from the Fast & Furious and Transformers franchises) and sponsored by the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), this world-class event is filled with international and regional premieres of feature-length and short films from around the world, special tributes, master classes, panel discussions and more.

    In the last weekend of September Aruba celebrated its 9th edition of the Caribbean Sea Jazz with headliners featured the Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Grupo Niche and Jessy J.  As one of Aruba’s longest running festivals, this festival annually attracts thousands of jazz lovers to the One Happy Island. These guests do not only come for the jazz music but also for the local food courts, the art fair and the overall ambiance, that make this festival one of Aruba’s coziest festivals.

    On Wednesday the 23rd of September approximately 500 people gathered at the Aruban theatre Cas di Cultura, to attend the first large- scale TEDX event in the Caribbean. At least 15 global embassies were live streaming the event centralized around technology, education and design and how Aruba can be the island of sustainable solutions.

    Aruba Aloe is celebrating its impressive 125th anniversary throughout 2015 with various cultural events. One of them is taking place this weekend.  On Sunday, September 27, from 10 am to 3 pm, Aruba Aloe will team up with Santa Rosa, Museo Historico, and the Monuments Fund to preserve and honor Aruban culture and history at the Fiesta di Cunucu.

    Plainly, tourism in Aruba is booming. The island saw a 16.2 percent increase in stayover visitor arrivals in the first half of 2015, making it the Caribbean’s fastest-growing destination in the first half of 2015, according to data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
