Wariruri, on the way to the fallen Natural Bridge past the old gold mills of Bushiribana, is a great spot for wave sports such as body boarding and surfing in Aruba. Further on, Dos Playa has faster, more powerful and hollow waves. At both of these spots, waves break over sand instead of coral. You only have to go out 50-100 feet in sand bank shallows where the water is no deeper than ten feet. Andicuri and Boca Grandi also rank high with sports enthusiasts. Arashi Beach on the leeward coast on the way to the California Lighthouse and Nanki reef directly in front of Rodgers Beach in Seroe Colorado can have dream swells during the winter months.
