Immerse in Aruba’s Holidays and celebrations to enrich your vacation experience on the One Happy Island. Typical Aruba Holidays and cultural celebrations always involve these important ingredients: good food, plenty of drinks and traditional music & dance.

Some of the largest cultural celebrations in Aruba are Betico Croes Day and Flag & Anthem Day. Expect parades, classic-car tours and bike-rides, local (flee) markets, live-music and folkloric performances popping up everywhere on the island and especially in downtown Oranjestad. National Holidays in Aruba adopted from the island’s Dutch heritage are Sinterklaas, the equivalent of Santa Claus and King’s Day, celebrating the birthday of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands. Aruba turns orange, the national color of the Netherlands, during this day (April 27) and offers flee markets, fly-a-kite competitions, boat races, family activities and performances by local bands.
