This was my absolute favorite place to eat on the island. The steak was amazing and the sangria drinks were too! The restaurant was pricey but definitely worth it. Service was excellent and a band came around to serenade you. It was so good we went twice on our honeymoon there! |

Love El Gaucho! Great food and atmosphere. Its within walking distance of downtown, which makes it nice if you're staying in that area. Garufa (cigar bar) is right next door. |

I was worried it had changed. Went there yesterday for late lunch and had the el gaucho,it was excellent as always! No waiting at lunch time and no reservation, service was great but not fast if you are in a hurry it isn't that kind of place. The steak is the reason to go, and almost enough to come back to Aruba just for that. I think my husband liked it so well the first 3 trips here he could be talked into going to Aruba, without considering any where else. |

Overall a very very dissapointing experience. This is clearly not a restaurant on part with establishments in most major US cities. The service was particularly poor. It was slow and disorderly, provided by a callous staff with poor understaning of the dining experience. The ambiance was chaotic. The food however was the largest dissapointment. The steaks were dry, flavorless and overall very low quality. Do not dine here. |
