Caribbean Palm Village Celebrates First Quarter Awards for 2018
The quarterly award ceremony at Caribbean Palm Village Resort is a much-enjoyed event, emceed by interim General Manager Astrid Muller and her team.
The atmosphere at the resort is always festive as associates are recognized for exceptional performances within their departments and for going the extra mile, with extraordinary stories of resourcefulness and creativity.
Nominees for the first quarter of 2018 included gardener Hyacintho Henriquez, a members of the Maintenance department, Gregoria Burgos from Housekeeping and Rashida Gomez from the Front Desk. Gregory Sanchez, a maintenance supervisor plucked the coveted winner award. Gregory who has been working for the resort for a number of years is a consummate professional, who oversees all repairs, and expertly fills in the shoes of the department head.
Those who went the extra mile to serve the resort and its employees included Rosalba Ras, Accounting, Gregory Sanchez, Maintenance, members of Housekeeping Hernando Ospino, Alfredo Sotillo, Henrica Tromp, Gregoria Burgos, Gilberto Spataro, and Anarella Pineyro, driver Patrick Arends, Front Desk agent Evelyne Boekhoudt and Reservations executive Marilina Kuiperi.

The quarterly meeting then went on with focus on diabetes and the prevention of the disease, with an IMSAM professional from the medical center in San Nicholas making an interesting and informative presentation.
