New at Hyatt Regency Aruba 

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa and Casino has announced the successful completion of the $21 million room enhancement project.  The resort now features 359 rooms with 16 suites, 9 accessible rooms. To create a more seamless stay, access to the newly renovated Regency Club Lounge is also available in all categories.  The updated room products include calming Caribbean design inspired colors, individually crafted armoires, handwoven baskets and tile and stone quartz bathrooms.  Modern conveniences include 65”-inch flat screen televisions, multiple easy to reach outlets, motion activated sensors on the floor, Hyatt Grand beds and illuminated bathroom mirrors with LED digital clock displays.  Differentiating experiences include residential wood plank tile flooring with large woven area rugs in Premium and Deluxe rooms or soft carpeting in the Ocean and Island View rooms.  Additionally, structural and design enhancements have been completed at Piet’s Pier and Palms Restaurant.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Renews EarthCheck Certification 

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa and Casino has once again passed the annual EarthCheck Certification audit – a global program for businesses to measure, organize, and improve their environmental and social management processes.  To pass the audit, hotels and businesses must comply and consistently show improvement in specific areas such as waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, management of freshwater resources and much more.  In the recent audit, the colleagues at Hyatt Regency Aruba showed improvement in many areas particularly in the storage of chemicals.  The resort engineering department also has regular internal audits to keep all colleagues on pace for achieving their annual goals.
