My wife and myself spent 6 nights at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was good, drinks were good. The fine dining was great. Expected more money for lobster and the wife said it was well worth it. The employees were very helpful. My wife uses a mobility scooter and everyone was quite helpful. Next time we go to Aruba, we will return to the Holiday Inn and do all-inclusive again. The only way to travel. Two pools, one for adults and one for everyone else. |

VERY disappointed this time. This was our 2nd stay @the Sunspree and having been there only 5 years before it seemed a little run down, the grass had not been cut in some time, although we were told it was due to the recent rains, the other hotels were still being maintained. The food is still not the best. The rooms are starting to show there wear and tear. Not all ammenities were available either. |

Great value for the money. Great location
Great beach
Catch bus right in front of resort to Orenstead or other locations
Shopping mall right across the street
Great for family vacation

Best bargain on the island. Prime location on Palm Beach. Slow service at the front desk. Can die of thirst waiting for a drink at the Pool bar. Hotel is clean. Would not suggest the all inclusive with all the fine dining on aruba. They charge for daily coffee in the room. I thought that was chintzy. |

We have been staying at the Holiday Inn Sunspree for several years and have always been very pleased. The staff always makes you feel right at home. Can't wait to return again this year! |

NICE PLACE. WE BOOKED 2 NIGHTS BEFORE AND 2 NIGHTS AFTER OUR STAY AT THE DIVI BEACH AND GOLF RESORT. I HAD A HEART ARTERY OPERATION THE WEEK BEFORE WE LEFT. DR OKE'D TO TRAVEL. MY 6 DIFFERENT MEDICATIONS WER GIVING ME TROUBLE AND WE HAD TO CANCEL AND LEAVE 4 DAYS EARLIER THAN WE WANTED. HOLIDAY INN WOULD NOT REFUND MY DEPOSIT. (1 NIGHT $230.00) NOT HAPPY AND WOULD SUGGEST YOU PICK ANY OTHER GREAT PLACE TO SYAY ON YOUR VISIT TO ARUBA. LET THEM ALSO KNOW THAT YOU WOULD NOT LIKE THIS EITHER ESPECIA |

Just spent a week at the HI Sunspree. We redeemed HI points and were not only upgraded to an Ocean View Room but were also comped an all inclusive as a result of being a Platinum Club member. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and I mean everyone! Buffet was above average to good. Drinks were potent! Minutes before we checked out room service knocked at the door with fruit, crackers, gouda cheese, chocolates and mints as a thank you from management! We will definitely consider staying here |

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree for the last 2 years and have booked for this year. We just can't find a better deal on the island that caters to our likes. My wife does insist on a superior room though we've never actually stayed in a standard. Love the beach and though the queue for the huts may be painful it is fair. The whole staff is great and the whole island attitude is definitely evident here. |

My boyfriend and I stayed here during the month of May/09; I really really enjoyed the entire vacation. The rooms were clean, just basic need to be updated, but for the money it was worth it. We have a direct view of the ocean. The front desk staff was wonderful and so were the cleaning staff. The online reviews were very helpful. This was my first trip to Aruba and I must say that I will be coming back and probably staying at this same hotel. |
