Arubamark, ask Bully to tell you about the horses in the national park. :) Then say hi from Joe & Mimi!

Enjoy your time in Paradise!

Has anyone used Bully's brother-in-law? Bully was booked and recommended him to us, we are going to give him a try.

Yes another very nice guy! Bully was busy one night and had his brother-in-law pick us up.

Taxi fares are regulated by the government. Starting year before last many taxi drivers have taken it upon themselves to charge whichever fare they wish, thus ripping off the tourists. Obviously they know that chances are very slim they would ever be caught.

Bully is a hard working, honest, knowledgeable Aruban family man. He will take you anywhere on the island his taxi is capable of getting to as long as he is available.

The first year we used him after picking us up at the airport and taking us to the Radisson he handed us a couple of his business cards with his phone number.

When he drops us off at the resort we usually tell him what time our dinner reservation is for and he tells us what time he will be at the lobby to pick us up. He is always waiting for us when we arrive at the lobby.

Upon dropping us off at the restaurant we have the business card to hand to the server at the end of our meal. Bully is a family man and we do tend to eat dinner later, so there have been times when Bully has sent a relative to pick us up at the end of our meal. His relatives are every bit as nice as he.

I call Bully for anywhere I have to go. He's just a great person that we have come to love and look forward to seeing now every year when we return. Book him next time Patty and see for yourself.;)

There are a number of things to like about Bully:

He's a gentleman
He's reliable
He's honest
He aims to please
He's friendly
He's accomodating
He has a huge taxi (great for luggage)
He's responsive (e-mail him and see)
He charges a fair and appropriate price

so, i presume that his rates are fair and law abiding? would he be a good choice to use if i wanted to shop at lings? would he take me there and wait w/o charging me an arm and a leg?

Rob - Right on point! Perfect descriptions.

Patty - I would email Bully and ask what the waiting charge is if there even is one. It all depends on how long you plan on taking. If it is just a few things he would probably just wait if you plan on being a while he might just ask you to call him when you are done so he can continue with his service to other people then come back and get you. But I am just guessing. Email him and ask. At any rate it's gauranteed it will most definately be fair.;)

We scheduled him for Lings. He picked us up at an exact time, and came back exactly when we had asked (45 minutes later). He charged nothing for the wait. In our opinion the right thing to do was to give him an appropriate tip.
