Are digital cameras and/or noise cancelling headphones among the devices which need to be turned off anytime the aircraft is below 10,000 ft. http://www.aruba.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif

we were told that the noise cancellation head phones needed to be turned off until after take off. (that way we can hear any announcements--plus all the advertisements that were happening.

We can keep them on until we were ready for take up.

Dont know about a camera since we dont use it on the plane

Yes, they must be turned off. Unless it is a medical device, like a pacemaker or hearing aid, it has to be turned off for flight. Even a standard camera is supposed to be stowed for takeoff and landing to prevent it from becoming a projectile in the event of something like an aborted takeoff.
