We are considering renting a timeshare privately at Playa Linda for part of our stay. I found the right week for the right price on the Playa Linda bulletin board but I have a few questions.
When you rent a timeshare, do you have the same maid service as you would in a hotel?
Other than the daily energy tax, are there other resort fees due to the resort when we get there?
Is there anything else I need to consider before renting privately from an owner?

Some timeshare have regular housekeeping service, others do not. Ask the owner that question. There is a government imposed tax along with energy tax. All based on size of unit. Plan on $20 per day but it may be less.
Confirm that owner is indeed an owner in good standing by checking with playa linda timeshare services.
