We have been traveling to Aruba for many years with my family and this year we will be taking our 6 month old son! We are very excited since we know how family friendly Aruba can be. We are staying at our normal Marriott Ocean Club. Has anyone stayed here with a little one? If so do they have cribs or pack and plays that we could take to the beach? Would love any other tips to help make his first trip a great one! I saw a tip on another thread about the doorway bouncy chair in the palapa and I LOVE that idea :) Thank you in advance for your tips!

many blessing on your precious baby boy!!

i do know that marriott surf does supply something, but i do not know if it is a pack n play or a porta crib.
if it is a pack n play, i bet they would not allow it on the beach.

6 mos is a perfect age to take a baby........once they are mobile..........WATCH OUT, the good old days of resting poolside or beach are over. you will be on the run!

this is what my son and daughter in law had for our grandsons.
they are beach folks...york beach in maine as well as aruba.
this was a life saver for them.

Baby powder is a must to have in your bag - it gets the sand right off! Tons of sunscreen of course.

I don't know about taking Mariott's baby stuff to the beach - but I would think they would not allow it. I wouldn't want to use a PnP for my kid that someone else had on the beach. When my kids where little I used one of those pop up tents - something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KR8JLB/ref=asc_df_B072KR8JLB5435902/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B072KR8JLB&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198074405649&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4052247268212217735&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9003571&hvtargid=pla-390826519822

Also use a small blow up baby pool on the beach - easy to pack and easy to fill for baby to play in. https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Kiddie-Pool-Summer-Sunset/dp/B0000U11LW/ref=sr_1_3?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1523454796&sr=1-3&keywords=blow+up+pool

rash guard shirts https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=rash+guards+infants

wide brimmed hats

remember too, to always have a sippy cup or baby bottle of water on the beach to keep the baby hydrated.

Thank you and yes we are happy he is not mobile just yet, should make for somewhat of an easier trip. That playard looks amazing! So many things to add to my Amazon list :)

Bottles of water(not baby bottles)-you just know the baby will get his hands covered in sand and then stick them into his mouth or rub his eyes and you may need to rinse them out with water.

I would contact the concierge at Ocean Club. When we went with our grandson we were at Surf Club and they provided a PnP but it was not allowed out of the room.
