Hi guys! I'll probably become a 1BR Condo owner this year, and would be really helpful to have an idea about how much we are gonna pay for water and electricity (average!); besides the condo monthly fee, let me know how much is the property tax nowadays, and also if there is some other relevant expenses to consider to.
Any help or info will be really appreciated.

Have a great, happy and sunny 2019!

Guille

Congratulations!

There are a lot of factors on how much it will cost a month-size of unit, age and efficiency of a/c unit and temperature you keep it at, hot water heater-how efficient and size, and do you have a washer/dryer in your unit? The new tax rate is $.06 for all non Aruban owners.

Where are you buying/

Hi Robin! We are still looking at some options and hope to close the best deal as soon as possible.
I agree with you, monthly expenses may vary a lot depending on a multiple factors; we just wanted to have a general idea of the "basics".
Anything you can share will be really helpful.

Like robin said, there are a number of variables. Our condo for 2018 averaged $70 a month total for water and electric.

Our condo is about 1500 sq. feet and we had an old a/c, washer/dryer and hot water heater. Electric and water were running about $500 a month(mostly it was rented with 4-6 people in here), however; now we have everything new, the $$$ a month should drop.
