I love the beach (who doesn't?), anywhere that I can snorkel, The Donkey Sanctuary (much to the dismay of my daughter), the lighthouse.

We were never asked about horseback riding or the Donkey Sanctuary.

I wonder how they monitor the cruise ship passengers for the same?

    Arubalisa,

No one ever verbally asked us until they read the blue immigration form where it asks if you have been near any livestock while on the island. If you check yes, then they ask why. I'm sure many people don't even think about the donkey sanctuary or the horses as livestock and check "no." I checked yes because I wouldn't do well in jail! (LOL I'm sure they don't REALLY put you in jail!)

It was on the immigration card but the immigration person also asked us. Maybe he was just bored and killing time, or, like you said making sure people realized the donkey's and horses are livestock. Or maybe we REALLY looked like tourists. LOL

Dh is kind enough to fill out the form. I don't know what he put down. Knowing him as I do though, I am sure he was honest.

That's why I fill out dh's. Who knows what he'd put on there thinking it was funny.
