    looking for S.N.U.B.A. guide to take us to Antilla shipwreck

    Hello wonderful Aruba community,
    My family originally found Aruba when we were looking for a S.N.U.B.A. experience. S.N.U.B.A. is like scuba diving, but you don't need to be certified and your regulator is attached to a hose that goes up to a little raft floating on the surface rather than wearing a tank. We heard about it from friends who have tried it on cruises, and through the snuba website we settled on Aruba as a perfect destination to try it.
    We love the island. The people, weather, pace are all fantastic. We try to save enough to visit each year, and next week we are coming back for our third visit.
    We've tried two S.N.U.B.A. experiences on our other visits. One is De Palm Island, and I can't say enough great things about that experience. The other was the Palm Pleasure catamaran, and loved that as well.
    The catamaran stopped at the Antilla shipwreck. We really wanted to snuba dive there. However, on the Palm Pleasure snuba is sold as an add-on and availability is limited. Also, you get to snuba at only one of the three locations where they stop, and you are not guaranteed your choice of which stop you get to snuba at. We did not get to snuba at the shipwreck. If we take that boat again, we would not be guaranteed to be able to snuba at the Antilla, and that is the one spot we really want to snuba dive.

    Does anyone know of an excursion that would guarantee the snuba experience at the shipwreck, or does anyone know of a private charter guide that offers S.N.U.B.A. that we could contact? Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thank you very much for your help.

    hi TFW

    please check out the following;

    https://www.aruba.com/us/explore/snuba

    https://www.aruba.com/us/things-to-d...derwater-tours

    https://www.aruba.com/us/things-to-d.../scuba-snorkel

    scuba is not offered by all of the tour companies.
    it was offered first by DePalm probably 20 +/- years ago and has expanded to some of the other
    tour companies, but not as many.
    good luck in your quest to find scuba at the antilla and if you are successful will you come back here and let us know please?
