I did it in Aruba on our last trip. I didn't get sick, but came close. The part that bothered me was the speed boat out to the parasailing boat. Bouncing over those waves almost did me in. We sat on the rocking boat until it was my turn. Up in the air - just as she described - swaying back and forth in the Aruba breeze. I probably would have been ok if I wasn't already a bit nauseous. I had to sit there while BF did his turn. Then back in the speed boat - ugggg. It took me about 3 hours to get over that little jaunt. In retrospect, kind of glad I did it but will NOT do it again...but got to cross it off bucket list !!

I just bought some crystallized ginger at the farmer's market for our next trip! I swear it works wonders!

DW tried it 15 years ago..... and never again. Not a lot of ballast with my girl and she really got knocked around a lot.

No thanks! I would definitely get sick, and I'm terrified of heights.

Not a pretty picture, could have done without the yucky details Never thought about the bouncing around but makes sense with all the winds in Aruba. I think I would have just came down quicker and said goodbye to the $40, not exactly like it was fun for her. Hope they washed the lifejacket before the next customer.

Never had a issue with seasickness or air sickness, been out in 5 foot swells fishing or flying in a glider doing aerobatic maneuvers, or flying a little puddle jumper..
