    Drinks at the Casinos

If you are actively gaming at the casino's, are the drinks free? Just curious...at the casino's here in Florida they are never free.

Although you don't pay for your drinks at the casinos while you are playing tables or slots...... they can get quite pricey.......

Yes they are free. The best drinks IMO are at the Ritz in REAL glasses with top shelf available....My golden rule of getting great drinks at the casino is to take care of the waitresses and they will take care of you.

Simple pleasures I know...but my Bacardi on the rocks taste better in a glass than a plastic cup....JMO, lol.

I have to agree about the Ritz, real glasses and probably the quickest service on getting a drink while gambling is at the Ritz. At some casinos, and not just in Aruba but everywhere, you wait forever for a drink and if you are playing the slots, put in another 30 bucks before you get your drink (cheaper just to buy it, lol). at least at the ritz, its a quick turnover from ordering the drink to getting the drink.

For some reason I am thinking they are not free at the Holiday Inn casino, but someone please correct me of I'm wrong. I could have been that we wanted something specific that wasn't included. I do plan to check out the Ritz casino sometime this trip.

Tracey, some drinks are not free. My husband asked for a Pina Colada at the Hyatt. He was sitting at the BlackJack table for a couple of hours. The cocktail waitress had to get permission to get one for him. So "specialty" drinks are not free. Now at the Ritz, they probably are free. But I know at the Hyatt they are not.

I've experienced the same thing at the Glitz asking for Grey Goose.... it's usually the bit boss that OK's it as it's charged back at a higher rate to them. Play long enough and you can generally get whatever you want.
