    Nightlife?

What do you folks do in the evening after dinner and a long day at the beach or pool?
Typically we go to a casino and if we last til 10pm that was a good night.
Most evenings on Aruba we wind up back at the place where we are staying b4 10p and we read or tv or if the mosquitoes are not too bad we sit out with a glass of wine and enjoy the solitude.

I think even if Aruba had tons of entertainment (shows) I would probably pass.
A long day in the sun really wipes me out.
    Vegetating is fine for me.

We also tend to wander into a casino for a bit. Sometimes we’ll just go back to the room and sit out on the balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. Not many late nights for us.

We aren't gamblers, but we'll go in a casino once or twice a trip. We usually wind up the day at Moomba or somewhere else in Palm Beach, and some nights we stay in. We last later at night (11-12) because we take a nap after pool/beach time before dinner.

I am glad to read that there are some of us that do the same.

I do not miss the days of drinking, dancing and prancing til the wee hours.......well, maybe a little.

A late night for us is 10-11. We usually make our way back to the condo by 7-8 if we’ve been to happy hour or dinner. If we’re eating in we’re usually back to the condo by 6. Most nights it’s lights out by 10. We’re just old....

Oops! Looks like I might be the exception so far. After dinner with DW and a walk or sitting on the balcony, I generally tuck my girl into bed and head out to the casino til the wee hours...…! At my age, I should know better!

We are day drinkers so nightlife is the exception more than the norm for us. For nightlife, I think Palm Beach has the edge. When we stay in the Alhambra Mall area, we rarely make it out at night after all day on the beach. But Ricardos dance party on Thursday nights is a lot of fun.

For Palm, we always have a blast at Moomba. Sopranos is another favorite stop for us when we are out in the evening. We had a couple fun nights at Saloon Aruba a couple years ago too. We usually look for lively music and a crowd. We've also had a lot of fun at Hard Rock cafe when they have bands.

If anyone is looking for late night options, check out Sand Bar Aruba and South Beach Aruba. I follow them on Facebook and they look really fun for outdoor bars with dancing, but we never make it that late.

I'm telling you guys, the 5 o'clock nap is the secret to staying power. We have a couple of cocktails during the day, but that nap enables us to enjoy the beach/pool during the day and the bars at night. We're on vacation and we don't want to miss a minute of it!
