    someone posted that it is closed for good.
    others agreed.
    now I cannot find the posting.

    so, trying to find out the real story.

    over the years, we have gone there a few times for lunch and they were closed for no apparent reason.
    no sign/notice posted, just closed.

    Found the posting and the folks that are confirming the closure are very reputable.
    I also heard back from an Arikok National Park employee and she told me that the National Park is the new owner and are possibly going to reopen the place.

    I believe that location was up for sale for a long time if I am not mistaken.

    That place was private property for a long time and Arikok had no control over the area. Some years ago the foundation that runs Arikok national park was reorganized so they could start buying up the remaining land inside the park. So, they did and this one at Boca Prins was one of them.
