Favorite fish and where to get it

In Aruba, what is your favorite fish and where do you get it? I am really fond of barracuda and I had a great grilled barracuda dish at Wacky Wahoo. I also had grouper on one of our first trips at Pelican Nest that was outstanding. Since the availability and authenticity of grouper has become questionable lately, I'm looking for other ideas for our upcoming trip.

Snapper - Sweet Peppers, Pika’s Corner, Red Fish (+the best shrimp ++ Grouper)

Wahoo - Zeerovers

barracuda - Lazy Turtle

Bingo- terrific coconut shrimp
RedFish- Barracuda with a delicious garlicky sauce.
Ruths Chris- Seared ahi tuna.



Now, I used to swear by the grouper at MJs.....but no more grouper except a fresh grouper filet from the fish store that Paul will cook in foil packet on the grill with butter and lemons.
Remember folks, please ASK your server if the grouper on the menu is "Real grouper"...If there is a hesitation, a song and dance or an extended definition, take a PASS.

The reason I had the best barracuda ever at WW's was because I asked the server if the grouper was real and she replied "you should really try the barracuda".

I love red snapper. Had a delicious grilled snapper at Ike's Bistro last August. One of the best I've ever had.

Tulip Restaurant has the BEST fish tacos ever! I think use grouper, the real stuff.
