The growing list of "we need to go to..."

Do some of you have a restaurant list of "we need to try this place?"

We do and the list seems to grow.

Paul's and my list includes; Gostoso, Alfies, Twist of Flavor, Lucky Lucianos and Old Dirty Bird.

When we are in Aruba, we rarely participate in "fine dining" or beach dining..........(I dislike sand between my toes as I eat)
We usually go to a Madame Janette or Ritz's Casa Nona kind of place just once while we are there.

We like casual kind of places and that works for us.

What is on your "we need to try" list ?

Another reason to go back. We missed Old Dirty Bird last month, and will stop by on our next trip.

I keep a running list all year. So often in trip reports someone will do a write up that peaks my interest in a place. It’s difficult as there are so many good restaurants and often times we end up back at favorites. For our May trip I would like to try:
    Casa Nonna
    Alfies
    Bavaria
    Local Store
    Chalet Suisse

My current list is Casa Nonna, BLT Steak, Madero, Divi Bar (all at the Ritz) and now Nos Clubhuis and I hit repeat over and over again. Many would hate how we dine but it works well for us.

We tried a new place for lunch-Canoa. It is by the windmill. It is small, but great for lunch-Venezuelan food mostly, but some Dutch and American. They're open for breakfast and lunch and hope to open for dinner once they are able to higher a another chef.

Other places we want to try: Alfies, Old Dirty Bird, Oak, Wacky Wahoo.

Every year we have these on our list and have yet to go: Yemanja and Screaming Eagle, and recently added Asi Es Mi Peru. On day we will get there.
If you find your self down past the airport, you may like the casual marina vibe at Fish House Island Bar and Grill.

Many restaurants on our list. We always try to check at least one off but can’t resist our familiar faves. And every time we do try a new one it usually ends up on the do-over list. My priority this year is Wilhemena. Gostoso, ASI mi Peru and Alfies are also on the list. Chalet Suisse has also been on the radar for years but we never make it. I need about 40 more nights on the island to check them all off.

I want to try Asi Es Mi Peru, TOF for Dinner (Ate dutch pancakes for breakfast there Yummy), We R Cuba, Alfies, Local Store and I want to go back to Gostoso since I only went there once and loved it..

Andrea there is a nice review of Twist Of Flavor. Now that you mentioned it, I think I want to hang out there a few times next trip. I love their dutch pancakes, never been to their Monday night Wine Pairing, Friday's is burger night and people have raved about their seafood lasagna. I think Im gonna have to skip Terrazza to try their lasagna.

    Here is a review.https://menuaruba.com/interviews/at-...ist-of-flavors
