    start with a beta.
    in at least 1 gallon
    a small heater is necessary

dump out 1/3 of the water weekly and add new spring water.

    easy peasy

when the fish croaks and because your son forgot about taking care of it, then there is no need to get an aquarium.
they are a real pain in the neck.
    believe me...been there, done that.

    then if

2 dogs, fish, and a 7 yr old...not sure I am ready for the fish tank. We already pay to board or dogs or have someone stay here if its during the summer time, paying someone to take care of my sons fish while we are away may send me over the edge, lol. I will take your word for it Andrea, I am going to try and avoid the fish tank like the plague.

My 2 favorite places were Ricardo's and Passions. Loved the food and the sunsets. As for lunches, what worked for us, knowing we were having big dinners, was 2 for 1 frozen mudslides either on the beach or poolside. Lunch worked out great.
