We were at Zee Rover and you wouldn't believe what we witnessed. There was a couple who smuggled a bottle of champagne with two glasses in a small box thinking they were going to get away with it. As soon as the bottle was opened they were caught. It appears the restaurant has beefed up their staff to accomidate more customers
Hoped they were able to get away with it

No BYO. They serve beer, coolers and those small bottles of wine. They just wanted to have champagne

Hard to hide the distinctive sound of a wonderful bottle of bubbly being opened. It would have been nice to charge them a corking fee and let them celebrate.

Yes! a corking fee would've been a splendid idea (for them). Win - win for both parties

With all the talk of pickles on another thread, it reminded me of a favorite shot of my husband. Has anyone ordered a pickle-back anywhere in Aruba? It's a shot of Jameson followed by a shot of dill pickle juice. We may have to ask for one when we find a restaurant that serves pickles.
