Hello everyone, we've been lurking on the forum for the last couple weeks and wanted to join and say hello to everyone. We're a late 50's couple from the US looking to book our first trip to Aruba. After much searching for a Caribbean vacation , Aruba kept coming to the top of the list of what we're looking for. There seems to be a wealth of great knowledge here, so we apologize in advance for all the questions we'll be asking.

I sure hope this is true, but another thing that put Aruba over the top for us is the water. Not the kind you swim in, but rather the kind you drink, make ice with, bath in, etc. From everything we've read, the desalination process Aruba uses makes for great water, with no fears of intestinal issues ruining your vacation.
