Hi everyone,
I have just joined this board after reading for a while. I want to stay up to date on the situation in Aruba to be informed and make good decisions about travel. All your posts have been super helpful.
Me and my husband have been in Aruba twice, the first time for our honeymoon in 2000. We had booked our anniversary return trip for last year to not only relive the great time we had but also to introduce our teenage son to the island we fell in love with. As so many of you, we rescheduled the trip, actually to later this week, and have now rescheduled again for November. Very disappointed of course but also trying to stay safe and with a connecting flight, the possibility of isolation just before school starts again and so many people still not vaccinated, we feel we made the right call. Also feel like I kind of don't want to add to the problem in Aruba right now as it's clearly a lot there to deal with too. I keep rebooking with the same people and vendors to assure that the money I would have spent, I will still spent, if that makes sense.
Looking forward to reading more of the many insightful posts I have read so far.
