    Ace Trip 9/11 thru 9/18

    Looks like I'm going!

I was hesitant due to covid numbers but I saw some improvements and I really need a break from work. I'm staying at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Again. I've had the pleasure of staying there in Dec 2018, Dec 2020, May 2021 and now Sep 2021. I'm already booked there for Sep 2022. I've stayed in the towers once and the other 2 times in the new villas. The tower has some amazing view but outdated furniture. New units has the convenience of newer furniture, 2 bathrooms on a 1 bedroom suite, jacuzzi. We shall see what I get on this trip.

For this trip I'm flying Jet Blue Mint again single seat. I'm spoiled!

This morning I took the Vault Test at 8:00am which is when they start. I dropped off the sample at UPS store at 9:10am. Today I have to start my packing. I usually pack lite and the way I manage that is by using my smallest luggage.

Just winging it but I did make reservations to West Deck for lunch straight from airport and then checking in. I was thinking of ordering from superfoods for delivery just a few refreshments beer, wine, chips but they deliver 12-5 and I might not yet be at the resort so decided against it. No Sunday delivery so i would have to wait until Monday. I used the resort store last trip and spent $15 for a bottle of wine that cost $7, $8 and I ended up buying 3 times.

I bet the resort concierge would hold the groceries for you...especially if you're not getting anything perishable.

I was thinking the same but then I found out that you pay on delivery. Which is why you have to be available and have a phone they can contact you when they are enroute. If it was prepaid then I could tell them to have the bell boy hold it.
