Act1966 also to add to my reply to you............FB police do a poor job at moderating.
Also on FB and on TripAdvisor there is no rhyme nor reason to posts. Things are not categorized making searching tedious.
Here at least we have consistent moderating and things are categorized uniformly. It makes searching easy.

I wasn’t questioning the attributes of the forum or its role relative to FB and TA. I was pondering why the defending tone/trend seemed to be cropping up in posts. I’m now clear on why.

Anyway… back to Ace’s trip report.

I hope your travels went well. Watch the drinking so you don't get sick. Remember flying is dehydrating, so try to pair a glass of whatever with a glass of water.

Arrived yesterday at 2pm. I was out of airport in 30 min. I checked in at the Aruba Phoenix and was in room by 3:00 PM. Once in the room, I unpacked and headed for happy hour at 5pm. I started off with 2 Blashi and ended with 2 dark n stormy. I had some wings and pizza for dinner. There was no entertainment but they mentioned that today they will have a band there.

I was back in room at 7pm, had a night cap and text a few people. My brother took Ms Daisy to his house in upstate and she met her new great grandson. She was happy... I was beat by 8pm so I went to bed and woke up this morning at 915am. Nice long rest! The pool is pretty empty so I will head down in an hour. I guess it's off season because they upgraded my room which is huge with 2 large bathrooms, Ocean View. No complaints here!
