Again, I am sorry if you get bored….I try to be more interesting or exciting, but it is what it is.
    (a big yawn)

    Another sunny and breezy day.

A frost must have come in last night as the pool at LaCabana was really cool this morning.
We were in and out of the water for a good part of the day.
We took the advice of a friend and went over to the Alhambra at around 4 pm and we played $50 each and that money lasted us almost 2 hrs. We left up a tiny amount. Last night at the Ritz I turned $10 into $430 and then just like magic it was $0.

We drove over to Lucky Lucianos for pizza and it was terrific. They had beer too! (Last May when we stopped there for pizza and beer, they had 0 beer and 0 wine and 0 soft drinks, so we had water)
I am glad we gave them this 2nd chance AND I believe that their pizza is some of the best that I ever had while in Aruba.
I will try to post a photo.

Our plans tomorrow include sleeping in and maybe back to Reflexions.

I also want to wish DiviDiviFan (Brenda) a very speedy recovery.
She had a fall the other day and broke her wrist.
I am not sure how many days they have left here, but I wish her well and a speedy recovery!

Sounds like you are having a great trip (other than the sunburned lips and upset stomach). I feel so bad for Brenda. What a terrible thing to happen on vacation.

the upset stomach is nothing new.
I live with it........all about poor choices.
I sent diviaruba (Brenda) a message but have not heard back.
The internet at Divi is worse than here.

    Dec 8 Sunday

    Get ready to yawn.
We spent a few hours at the pool and then at Boca Catalina Beach for a quick dip.
The water at Boca was gorgeous.

We had a late breakfast………bagels at 11 so we were really not interested in lunch.

Mid afternoon we stopped at the Glitz Casino. ‘Nuf said.

Dinner was early here at LaCabana….grilled steak, stir fry veggies and French bread. Yes, I cooked…….I was NOT happy. Paul grilled and I did the veggies. Summer squash, zucchini and red bell pepper.
What I really wanted for dinner was ICE CREAM.

Watching the NE Pats game in the room…….I expect the security or police to be banging on the door due to some loud cussing.
Paul has invented new word combos.

Tomorrow, Reflexions Beach Club @ Surfside and then meeting a friend for dinner !!

    By the way.............as an addendum.
We stopped at SuperFood both Saturday and Sunday.
I told Paul that "if I never see that parking lot again it will be too soon."
    Gosh I despise that lot.
I think that I combined a few words there too.

More ranting.........OH DEAR GOD, I MISS MY BACK UP CAMERA ON MY CAR!!!

I had a text exchange with Brenda this morning. She’s been feeling nauseous. One of the staff gave her something with bitters to see if it would help. I suggested ginger tea and thought the mini mart at Alhambra might carry it. She is anxious to go home and see her own PCP and is looking to head home early. I told her she might want to reconsider as it was just 11 degrees here this morning! The Divi WiFi has been very spotty.
