I was right there with him... many of mine ended with "officials"

We stopped at SuperFood both Saturday and Sunday.
I told Paul that "if I never see that parking lot again it will be too soon."
    Gosh I despise that lot.
I think that I combined a few words there too.

More ranting.........OH DEAR GOD, I MISS MY BACK UP CAMERA ON MY CAR!!!
Last Monday it was crazy too. When we got there it seemed not too bad but when it was time to leave it was insane. The store didnt feel crowded but the parking lot was a madhouse. That being said, I would rather be back there than in my cubicle. I'm easing back into work as you can see by my presence here...lol.

I find that if go right after lunch it isn't too bad inside and out. I also found that the back way and and out is usually easier.

    Get ready to yawn.
We spent a few hours at the pool and then at Boca Catalina Beach for a quick dip.
The water at Boca was gorgeous.

We had a late breakfast………bagels at 11 so we were really not interested in lunch.

Mid afternoon we stopped at the Glitz Casino. ‘Nuf said.

Dinner was early here at LaCabana….grilled steak, stir fry veggies and French bread. Yes, I cooked…….I was NOT happy. Paul grilled and I did the veggies. Summer squash, zucchini and red bell pepper.
What I really wanted for dinner was ICE CREAM.

Watching the NE Pats game in the room…….I expect the security or police to be banging on the door due to some loud cussing.

Tomorrow, Reflexions Beach Club @ Surfside and then meeting a friend for dinner !!
Watching that Patriots game was, well, just painful...

    Monday Dec. 9

Take a shot of caffeine in order to keep up.
The excitement is just beyond belief.
Weather………..Same! Sun, breeze, clouds and a 6 pm torrential rain storm that dumped an inch of rain in 15 min and then moved on out. We call it God’s car wash.

We spent from 9:30 to 2 at Reflexions @ Surfside and it was wonderful.
There were 3 cruise ships in……….Carnival Legend, MSC Divinia and a P&O ship whose name I did not catch. There were a few passengers at Reflexions and they were enjoying every moment AND the buckets of 6 Chills for $20. There was plenty of thirst quenching going on.
Paul worked on a bucket, and I downed a few diet cokes which I rarely drink, except here on Aruba they are wonderful……………just full of artificial everything!!

We came back to LaCabana and I walked the pool deck to find Jen Doe and hubby. They found me before I found them. Nice folks and DUH….I had met them eons ago…..when Mark 68 (Buster’s Owner) brought the dog to the meet and Greet. Again, nice folks!!! But of course they are because they are Forum folks!

Dinner was with a friend who lives and works on island.
We had a nice meal at Casa Tua……… Paul had pasta with meat sauce, I had pizza, Amy had eggplant. We all ate well and enjoyed our meals and company.

We spent some time watching the “not ice” skating.
I posted a photo in the prior posting.
The ice floor was not ice but something slippery like ice…a very hard plastic.
The ice skates were not called ice skates, they were called skating shoes.
We watched lots of kids give it a whirl.
We watched all fall……such great fun NOT.

I am also going to post a photo of a beautiful 1 yr old conucu dog that needs a home.
That BAD MAN THAT I SLEEP WITH say absolutely not he is not ready for another dog.
This dog, her name is Faith….was found with her puppies tied to milk crates. They were dumped. The pups are in foster homes as is Mommy dog, Faith. The pups will be easily adopted….Momma dog is gorgeous and sweet and small. Only 32 lbs. She is docile and like other dogs and cats. She is currently at a foster home on island, will be spayed on Friday and will be adoptable next week. If you can give this beauty a new life, let me know and I will put you in touch with Kathy (or private message forum member SUGAR)
If I were to adopt her, (and I cannot) I would have named her Miss Molly.

She can fly on Delta, Jet Blue or American!!!
    (as cargo)

Well, now I am depressed. L

PS The Alhambra was a break even night. I guess that is a win.

We are down to 2 full days left.
Honestly, I am ready to go home….Lots to do. Kids coming for Christmas.
