so very, very cute. I sympathize, Tom has also said no to having a second dog. I think it would be nice for Maddy to have company.
Maybe by your next trip Paul will be ready!

I learned to ice skate in that frozen tundra known as Northern Illinois on the shores of Lake Michigan. I was wrapped in so many clothes that when I fell I rolled to the other end of the pond and had to wait till someone came and helped me up. I think it would be cool to ice skate in shorts and a t-shirt.

The dog is so cute. I miss having a pet, but right now we are not home enough to have a pet.
They had an ice rink a few years ago at Palm Beach Mall-in the front-maybe 2015. I'd have to go back and look at my pictures. I wondered how they kept the ice from melting, but if it's not real, it makes sense.
I will miss your trip reports, but I know you are excited to see the family.

Robin. The surface they used here is also the same as they use at other warm weather venues like cruise ships.
most likely the same at the place in Palm
    Beach that you mentioned.

    Dec 10 Tuesday

I know I said yesterday that I was ready to go home as we have much to do.
I am beginning to stress and obsess about it.
Geesh, and I am still her on a respite and I need to divert my thoughts to enjoying our last full day tomorrow !

It is now almost 11 pm, we just got in from the Alhambra and tonight was better than break even. To let you know how smoky that casino has been………..we both shower when we come in from the beach. After dinner we head to the casino(s) and when we come back ALL of our clothes get left out on the balcony on chairs to air overnight, before they go to the dirty laundry bag. Then showers again. It really is stinky. But I digress…….we won a little tonight, so the stench I guess is worth it.

We spent the day at the pool at LaCabana without a run over to jump in the ocean.
We were surrounded by folks that seemed to be having a blast. Sadly their kids all aged between preschool to 9 or 10, ran wild. More than 2 times the parents (and there were 4 sets of parents) that were panic stricken as their kids had gone into the pool unattended. Paul and I were so frazzled by the lack of parenting, we moved ourselves to another umbrella table far from them. The lifeguard in me was totally freaked out.
Other guests did complain to security but it seemed not to make much difference.

Dinner was take out from JACKS and it was very good.
We each had lasagna and Greek salad.
The lasagna was very light and the lasagna noodles were el dente’.
It was nice that it was not mushy. Every time I make a lasagna with fresh noodles it is a crapshoot.
I really recommend Jacks (at Superfood) in spite of the parking lot

Tomorrow is our last full day…………We will spend most of it at the Reflexions Beach Club at Surfside Beach.

Dinner tomorrow will be our last (and first) night ritual…….Hung Paradise.

Nice to hear you won some at Alhambra. Maybe give Seaport another try after going to Hung Paradise?

Enjoy your last last full day!!!!’
