They do have a pickup and drop off service available if I am not mistaken. I miss their old location.

    Dec 5 Thursday

Another glorious sunny and very breezy day.
We did not wander far from the pool at LaCabana today.
I participated in the water aerobics and then we seemed to spend hours in the pool only with restroom and pina colada breaks.

We did get over to SuperFood to replenish our bread and chocolate cake.

Dinner was at Las Ramblas and it was delicious….we both had steak and salad.

We visited Alhambra and the Glitz with break even results.
I am thinking that I am getting pretty DONE with the casinos for the next few nights.

    Tomorrow dentist, cleaning and exam.

    After dentist……off to the beach!

    Dec 6 Friday
The internet here at LaCabana continues to be a pain.
Today early, it did spit a few rain drops in the Eagle Beach area.
We went thru the downtown over to Seroe Blanco to our dentist at 7:45 and it was pouring hard for a few minutes. The puddles were deep and the kids on their way to school were getting soaked from passing cars. These drivers were being such jerks.

Our dental visit was done in an hour and we are good for another 5 mos!
    Next visit is in May.
Our dentist has her office decorated beautifully and I will try again to post a few photos.
I can post them on facebook, but will not load onto this site and google………ugh, forget google while I am here.

We spent 6 hours at Reflexions Beach Club at Surfside.
We had 2 great cushioned lounges with a nice shade shield…..but I did not take much advantage as I was in the water ALL of the time, except when I was eating or in the restroom!
We had lunch there and a couple of virgin bloody marys. Paul had a delicious burger and fries. I had chicken sate and fries. I am not sure what is going on with me with chicken sate’ but the last few times I had it, I got awful reflux……..today was no different. Nexium helps, if I remember to take it. No more chicken sate’.
One of the waiters said to me, “I remember you, you are the lady that hardly ever gets out of the water”. Yes sir, that is me!

Dinner was at Casa Nonna………Yum…..salads, chicken and pasta. We did have the antipasto appetizer which was tiny but good. Casa Nonna does make a great cup of coffee. No room for dessert. We did stop in to the Casino and proceeded to earn 1 ticket for the Ferrari and lose. Actually I only played $10. I am just disgusted with throwing my $ away.

Tomorrow is Paul’s day to go secure a shade spot at the pool.
He goes there at 7 and I get to sleep til 8!

I’m so glad we made it to Casa Nonna this trip. Their agnolotti was just amazing. Plus they serve my favorite wine. As for the casino, it’s fun to play but I’ve never really won there.

    Enjoy the pool tomorrow.

That’s the attitude the wife finally took with the casinos. She had enough of giving without receiving.
