Let’s see if I can catch up. On Saturday it was just beaching it during the day. We saw lots of planes coming in one after the other. We leave on Saturday (which I’ve done before) and I’m trying to prepare hubby for the crowds. It’ll be our first time with global entry so I know that will help. Saturday night we parked again in that weird garage. It’s convenient but I so miss my backup camera in my CRV. One thing I found out with this vehicle, it beeps when you back up if you get too close to something! Dinner was at Le Petit Cafe which we really enjoy. We walked thru Playa Linda to the beach walkway. It was pretty dark ( around 8pm ) by the Pelican Nest pier that it almost looked closed, but wasn’t. We walked around a little and then came back to Manchebo.

Sunday we had yogurt and fruit in the room. Then we went back to the Butterfly Farm. It’s so peaceful there. When we left there we stopped at La Cabana to find Gelateria Italiana. We bought a piece of tiramisu cake and also lemoncello cake. Wow, they were both delicious! Might make another stop there. We had lunch at Pega Pega and saw some of the World Cup game and then hit the beach. We had Hung Paradise leftovers for dinner. Their food is so good! Guess that’s all for now. Thanks for following us!

    Monday
We went to the Donkey Sanctuary in the morning. We brought baby carrots that we got at Super Food. We enjoy going there even if you have to watch where you step! I was happy to see Tripod ( that’s what I call him ) the 3 legged donkey again. We stayed till we were out of carrots. We made one last stop at Super Food since the car is getting picked up here on Wed. We snacked on the beach with cheese, salami and crackers. We went down to Palm Beach and parked in that weird garage again. I think I’m getting used to it! We went to The Juggling Fish to shop and also the shops at the Holiday Inn. Dinner was at Patrizia’s. We really enjoyed it. I had chicken parm and hubby had shrimp parm. He started off with a salad, while I dove into the focaccia. We also got a pasta side to share. We have leftovers for a meal. They got really busy part way thru our meal. They had a table of 22 people! We’d definitely go back.

    Tuesday
We walked to Santo’s for breakfast. I’ve gotten coffee there before but this was our first time eating there. It was really good. We then spent the day on the beach. Since we still had the car we decided to go to Casa Tua for dinner. We parked in the lot behind Arawak Gardens which is really convenient. It was early, around 6pm, so they weren’t too crowded. We split a Caesar salad and a margarita pizza. We love their sangria so we both had 2 glasses. We then walked over to Gelatissmo for dessert. Boy, was it crowded around there ( Gianni’s, Daniels, Azia, etc ). The gelato was yummy as usual. We headed back and crashed early.

    Wednesday
We just had yogurt and fruit for breakfast. I had to be out before 10am since they’d be picking up the car. It was raining so I sat under cover in the lobby waiting. I talked to Andrew while I waited. He’s so nice. It was well after 10am and they still weren’t here. Hubby came out to check on. I pulled out the contract and the p/u date said the 24th. I asked hubby the date and he replied “the 23rd”. Oops! We have the car one more day! Another senior moment! The rain stopped so we hit the beach. We planned to go to the Tam to see Gaby to pickup the few things she made for us. We said our goodbyes and headed to Pizza Napoli since we had the car one more night. We had the chicken parm. and the homemade gnocchi in a bread bowl. It was so good! We stopped at La Cabana to get desserts to go. This time Oreo cake and tiramisu. So yummy!
