Ceiling fan and AC do make a bit of noise.... but not so much to keep me awake. Should be enough for Jon.

continue having wonderful beach days and much luck at the casinos.

could you give us a roundabout construction update please?

    patty is dedicated indeed!
Don't see where the roundabouts will ever be done.... just barricades, tools and piles of dirt.... and no workers!

Ditto day for yesterday..... just lazy on the beach with lunch at Pega Pega. We strolled over to Ricardo's for dinner last night without reservations..... place was empty. We had a wonderful view of the beach and sunset from their new deck. The deck was added since our last visit to Ricardos and is a nice addition to the covered dining room...… except that they used the cheapest plastic tables and chairs you could imagine. Hope they upgrade to make it a better experience. Dinner was good and relatively inexpensive...… of course all dinners are less money when I don't have a cocktail!

Patty has been exhausted and off to bed by 8:30 the past couple of nights..... so naturally I get more casino time. I just walked over to Alhambra last night for a few hours and had my ups and downs. A few good runs at blackjack and couple of not good runs and nothin' good to report for video poker. I left just after midnight a few hundred lighter.

My tooth has stopped bothering me..... so I'm gonna sit tight for a coupla days and hope I can get home with no more troubles.

No turtle hatchings that we know about yet... but we're parked right between a couple of nests..... oops.... gotta go check them out!

We’ve always liked Ricardos. Last trip we were there early. It was empty, but they said the entire restaurant was reserved so they served us at the bar. There was a mix up with my meal and they replaced it but it didn’t have the wonderful sauce it usually does. Bartenders were arguing about the prior mix up so I didn’t have it in me to ask them to correct it a second time. I was disappointed but still plan on going back as they were really nice to me about it, if not with each other.

We ate at Ricardo’s twice last trip and we’ll return for sure. Have to take a closer look at their happy hour too.

Just left a cloudy day on the beach.. had a couple of downpours and then off and on showers. Patty went to the room early an did more stuff for her courses. I was able to finish DeMille's Radiant Angel today and do recommend it. John Corey is an excellent charactor and it was a great thriller. I finished Grisham's The Rooster Bar yesterday..... and it was just OK.... so many of his books are great and some are just hit or miss. Dunno if we're gonna take a chance on going to Palm Beach tonight for Blossoms...... or just stay here.... the sky is still unsettled.......

Wow! Congrats on the win! Good luck with the dentist. We are thinking of getting our cleanings done there during the winter.

This was one of his less plausible books.
