Best of luck, Jacki. I KNOW things will work out for you. Try to enjoy your vacation and come home refreshed.
So sorry to hear about your job loss! I lost mine two years ago and was offered a position at a much lower salary than I was making or I could leave with 2 months severance and benefits. The pros outweighed the cons, and I know I made the right decision in staying. This is a bump in the road, you will be snatched up in no time! When one door closes, another bigger and better door opens.
Have an extra special time in Aruba, and I look forward to reading your reports!

I was sad to read this Jacki but I know in my heart the right position will open up. You would be a terrific asset to any company. I will keep you in my thoughts and you rest and relax on this trip. I hope we do get to meet. Just know that you will be fine. You have a loving a supportive family and many friends.
You know Jacki, I can pretty much picture a future post from you saying how excited you are about a future job opportunity!
Hi Jackie!!
Sorry to hear about the loss of your job, its got to be really hard especially after you have been there for so long and where fellow co-workers become family. Your annual trip to Aruba could not have come at a more perfect time. Something about that small island that makes everything fade into the background( way back into the background) and where you get to really think and see things clearly. The possibility is that you can get hit with a brilliant idea while sitting on the beach for your very own business, don't be surprised if you wind up writing the idea down on a bunch of napkins or whatever is available nearby. Aruba seems to have that magical power to inspire people to become their true best self. Looking forward to reading your about your latest trip.
