I am glad you are here. It is frustrating when technology does not work.

If you would like to meet up while you are here, let us know.

What is the sin tax? Did I miss an article, post?

I'm hearing so many different stories about the sin tax. The owner of the restaurant here at Costa Linda is going to a meeting this week about it. We were told by one of the bartenders here that Hylton has already started it and is charging $17.00 for a cocktail.

The Hilton is stealing money from people if this is actually true. The "sin" tax is almost meaningless on large bottles of alcohol when divided out over dozens of drinks. Its almost as if they did not understand the tax themselves OR are trying to really stick it to the unknowing consumer. Either stinks IMO!

The Costa Linda happy hours are great, and some.days they had a drink of the day that were 2 for 1 all day. It really is our new favorite place. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

Saturday - Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away
The first full day of our Aruba vacation is always my favorite day of the year. If you've seen the movie, Groundhog Day, you'll understand when I say that I've always said that that's the day that I want to be my Groundhog Day. I want to wake up to that day, over and over. Actually, this year, it was Groundhog Day.

We spent a glorious, lazy day on the beach. We started the day with coffee and muffins on the patio from the coffee shop, then moved to the beach. Lunch and happy hour were at the beach bar. I had no desire to go anywhere. 4:00 came around and it was time for happy hour on the beach. They have a server who comes around, taking drink orders, and delivers them right to your chairs. We stayed on the beach for sunset. We didn't make any dinner reservations, and discussed off and on what we would do that night, but decided that we really weren't very hungry. We ended up going back to the room and eating leftovers. Later, we walked over to the mini mart by Alhambra and picked up a few groceries. The first few days that I'm here, I so content to be here that I don't need to do anything else.
