Andrea, we are moving to Renaissance tomorrow. The make out couple was making a lot of people uncomfortable. He had her pressed up against the wall of the pool and looked like they were getting ready to take it to the next level. They weren't Americans, and maybe this is common in their country but it was too much PDA for me.

Does LasRamblas have an early bird dinner special? I was there in January and we enjoyed our meals and the entertainment!!! I seem to recall a 3 course menu? Or maybe I’m thinking if somewhere else. Going back to,Aruba July 4th for a “Girls Trip” and trying to think of some places to go. Neither have been to aruba before.

I was looking at their menu last night... doesn't look like EB available. Las Ramblas Menu (1).pdf

I cringed see the posting about the people making out in the pool! Glad it was happy hour...sounds the couple were on their way to "happy hour too"

We floated in the pool with our noodles most of the afternoon. One interesting fact, there was a couple who looked like they were in the 60s making out in the pool, near us. It was weird and very uncomfortable. I wanted to ask if they'd like to move this upstairs to their room, but refrained. Thankfully, the clock said that it was time for happy hour, so that was our cue to leave.

We weren't very hungry so decided to go back to Pizza Bob's for dinner. We showed up in our masks since they were strict about it a few days ago, but the staff has now taken their's off.

There are palapas on the beach open all day, although the resort seems crowded. There are lots of young people in their 20s here, which the regular crowd says is unusual, but I suppose that they are here to blow off some steam, after being couped up for so long. Can't blame them for that. Most of them are well behaved but a couple are incredibly loud, yelling and screaming to each other from all around the resort. It's ok until we go to bed, but I have a sleep sounds app on my tablet and I am able to drown them out.
Trip 33 begins on July 15.

They did hand us a sheet that listed a 3 course special on it, but we weren't interested so we didn't pay much attention to it.

It was definitely cringe worthy and this guy was way too happy.

Thursday was a repeat of previous days, walks and beach time in the morning and pool in the afternoon. The make out couple wasn't there so it was enjoyable.

We went to happy hour at Manchebo and spent time catching up with our favorite Aruba bartender, Ignacio. After happy hour we had a delicious dinner at Ike’s Bistro.

We moved at Renaissance this afternoon and were delighted that they gave us the room that we own in February. The resort is very busy. We've been sitting on the balcony and the music has been deafening from the bar for hours. I just posted that on the Renaissance Facebook page, and magically, the music was turned down. I've heard that they read the page, so if that's why they turned it down, that's great! Anyway, whatever the reason, I'm happy for it.

Getting out the pool was probably not an option at that point.
