Bright and sunny and windy……., but not wind blowing sand…….nice windy.
We spent the morning at Reflexions @ Surfside Beach and stayed in the water more than we were out. There was a group of instructors and kids having swim lessons so we had to make sure that we were not in the way. The parent’s of the young’uns, spent their time imbibing from Reflexion’s Bar. I guess the kids were the designated drivers.
We saw the kid’s flight come in about 30 min early, so we hurried and rinsed off and packed up our stuff and made our way over to the rental car office, just as the shuttle driver was dropping them off! Good timing. Aruba Customs was x-raying luggage. Be aware.
We came back to the Airbnb and the kids spent the next 3 hrs in the pool diving for their army men and beating each other silly with pool noodles. Their very wise parents took a nap.
Grandy and Grandpa were exhausted and sipped rum drinks watching them go wild.
We had chicken on the grill and salad and strawberry birthday cake from Super Food to celebrate Jake’s 8thbirthday.
To say that all crashed and burned by 8 pm is an understatement.
I am thinking that Kevin and Becca may be going fishing tomorrow and we will take the kids to Eagle Beach.
It is 9:24 and now lights out.
Exhaustion is kicking my bum.
