June 18 Saturday
Another day that was wonderfully windy and partly cloudy.
Believe me those clouds are welcome relief from the burning sun.
Our day started off with grabbing a spot on Eagle under a palapa with our own chairs.
The beach attendants at LaCabana were kind of giving us the stink eye, but it was free for the taking as no lounges were underneath. It became ours for a few hours.
The waves were a bit rough but very warm!
We floated for a bit and were in and out a few times.
We had sandwiches and beer and soda under the palapa and by 2 pm called it a day and headed back to our rental. I am beginning to like it better and we were able to organize a bit making it seem less cluttered with our stuff.
I spent the better part of the afternoon reading in the shade and jumping in and out of the pool here, while “ his nibs” snoozed with the pretty little black kitty on a towel on the bed beside him. I am wondering if a vet visit and a trip to Lakeland is in her future? Wondering if our old boy Tobey kitty and ms Lily would welcome a new addition. I suspect not. I suspect that Lily would be really annoyed, and I believe that tobey is to dense to know the difference.
She is such a sweet little kitty. The owner of this place brought her to the vet and had her spayed recently.
Dinner was steak tips on the grill with a salad.
Alhambra …well let’s say it was not a good night, but did save enough in the wallet for ice cream
Tomorrow will be some time at Reflexions at Surfside.
