    Lisa's Adventure in Paradise 8/9/22-8/19/22

Might as well get the ball rolling on my trip too!
Partially packed except for clothes and carry on. Oh, and shoes. I always have an issue with shoes...
Cash in hand and money "moved" for cards
    Airport transpo all set
No flight change yet; since it's Delta's only daily non-stop flight to Aruba out of JFK, I'm not worried (famous lasts words!)
Have made a couple of dinner reservations but plan on winging it a bit since restaurants can usually find a place for one
No activities planned for which I need to make a rez; "been there, done that" is the mindset this year since I'll have all 10 days to me, myself and I (hallelujah!!). But I do want to spend an early morning at the Butterfly Farm; love that place.

Hey, my trip ticker says 7 days! I can do my ED form now, can't I? THAT will make it seem real!!

Wow Lisa. You are well organized to be getting ready a week out! That’s great and the anticipation is fun! And yes I believe you can do your ED card today. Will be a lot easier than when we had to test! Your trip reports are always fun!

    Thanks, Colette & Chuck!!
Can report that I've completed the ED card process and it looks like they're going to let me in! Guess I'm now forced to make the shoe decisions. Hmm...
Also purchased the Covid insurance "just in case"
So, when do I get my "blue" card for airport departure? I thought it would be part of the ED card process. Or is it just the email I got with the departure parameters on it? That's the one thing I'm not sure about since they didn't have this last year.

Chuck, are Ike's and the Chophouse still sharing one kitchen? There are items I like at both but prefer to sit outside at Ike's. Last year you could order off either menu.

Not sure about kitchen sharing.... but at the Chophouse, sitting outside in the garden a few weeks ago, Harold asked us if we wanted an Ike's menu too.... Sooooooo... I would guess it's workable!
