I think Peta Peta is at Lacabana and pega pega is at Manchebo. Someone please correct me of I'm wrong.

    Wednesday 12/5:

Got the condo back in order as our son packed for his return home. Headed to the airport and gave him one more look at the Eagle Beach coastline while heading towards Palm Beach. Cut across along by the Mill's entrance and the windmill, only to see a three foot snake that had been crushed by a vehicle on the road. Nice lasting impression.

We thought we'd stop downtown to let him walk through the stores, but he'd been coming down with a cold the last couple of days and wasn't up to it, so we dropped him off at the airport.

We stopped at Garage Central to look for a car. Found exactly what we wanted, but I think we've decided to hold off for awhile. Just can't decide if it makes financial sense, along with the maintenance, insurance and cost of plates. It's also nice to call the rental company if something breaks down, without the responsibility. During the past two trips we've had three flat tires alone.

Got back to the condo and sat by the pool for a bit, and then off to Peta Peta for happy hour. Found it odd that there was no band playing, so we went to The Glitz for a little bit and had a few free beverages, at least that's what the bride calls them. The rest of us know better...

We thought about going to Tandora for dinner, but decided to Lings restaurant for Chinese. We'd been there once before and enjoyed our meals.

Went back to the condo and called it a night. We're becoming really old people...

Glad your son got to experience Aruba...he will be back soon, lol. I would be happy to see the dead snake...one less snake alive in this world! I know they exist, I just don't want any around me....as I said before the only good snake is a dead snake!

the dead snake.............ahhhh. glad it was dead. I am guessing it was a boa.
although an invasive species, I bet the construction and disruption up in the Mill/Courtyard are might have caused for the snake to have gotten displaced.

I hope that your son had a wonderful visit to aruba.

3 flats so far huh? wow.

continue to enjoy and thank you for sharing your adventures!

    Thursday 12/6:

A quick stop at Lings to grab some more beer...not sure where it's all going

Today was mostly a beach day, as we spent all afternoon at Eagle. Came back to the condo for a light dinner and then when back to the beach so watch the sunset.
