I am glad that you were able to get them to modify your take out dinners.
When we get food from the take outs in Aruba...I just want chicken and Cole slaw and Paul wants ribs and only Cole slaw.

You're in Aruba, no ambition required!

Thank you for your updates. We all appreciate your writings.

We were both a couple of slow-moving sloths today, recovering from the “free” drinks at The Ritz the previous night. We did manage to get to the gym, although a little later in the day, and then took a ride to Wei Tai Restaurant for take away barbeque. It comes with ribs, chicken, rice, coleslaw and corn on the cob. One platter is enough for two people. We always have them modify the order for us, which a challenge, as it’s usually hand signals with no English spoken, but they get it done. We got two platters and the total came to $19.50.

We spent the rest of the day at the pool, and both of us napped briefly. Neither of is had the ambition to do much of anything.

Around six, we decided to get off our cheeks and go to Pega Pega for the remainder of happy hour. As happy hour was coming to an end, we noticed people complaining about their bills. Apparently, they had just changed their happy hour discount. Drinks are no longer half price and instead will be 25% off. The hours remain the same at 5-7. It would have been nice if they posted the change or at least let people know before ordering. It seemed to upset several of the regulars.

We called it a night early with a little TV. Hopefully we’ll have more ambition tomorrow.

Chuck, you have to get the skinny on that when you are next warming your seat at Pega Pega. BTW, when are you and your better half heading down?

    Monday Day 7:

Today we ventured away from the condo and plopped down on Eagle Beach, across from Oceania. The weather has been great so far this trip, with only a couple occasional drizzles of rain. We stayed for a bit and then returned to the condo for a quick dip in the pool.

We decided to go to Mathew’s for happy hour. We really like their location on the water and the attentive bar staff. They had live entertainment and we stayed until shortly after six.

We didn’t have much of an appetite, so we returned to the condo and sat poolside for a bit. We ended up staying in and firing up the new popcorn maker. Watched a little TV and turned in.

As each day passes, each one becomes lazier. We’ve completely lost the day of the week and are just soaking up the sun and relaxing. It’s a simple life…

    Tuesday Day 8:

We spent the afternoon driving around. Drove into the little housing project in Calbas. If I remember correctly, there was a an episode on HGTV, that highlighted a couple buying a house there. We often wonder how their experience has been when we pass through. Went to the Urataka Center for a late lunch. We tried the Paranda Pizza and it was very good. Total was $21.76 plus tip.

Afterwards, we went to PriceSmart and picked up a few more bulk items. By the time we got back to the condo, it was almost 5:00, so we took a refreshing dunk in the pool and lounged for a bit.

Ended up going to The Glitz for a while. Mind you, that only a few days have passed, since the wife said she was done with the casinos this trip. She one enough to keep playing for quite some time, then gave it all back and then some. She has no willpower…

Haven't been taking as many photos this trip, as a lot is repeat of our last trip. I'll link some eventually.

    The first week flew by.

Probably won;t want to share this info but I find betting the maximum gets you more bonuses and increased your odds of a win.

My wife is so frugal...she's talked about doing that a number of times. Of course if she wins, it might be her "newest" strategy. Oh, she's actually thinking about the djucu too! I still think her best option is for me to take your avatar, and put it in a locket for her to wear around her neck.

    buy your bride a djucu!!!
lacabana gift shop...in the tunnel area heading from the lobby towards the pool.
    on the right.
it will be a great investment.
Paul won a good chunk of $$ on the dancing drum machine at the Glitz...he had his djucu nut in the palm of his hand.
