The Boardwalk is right across the street from the Ritz. I would not call them full service but they do offer a breakfast, lunch and drink options from 3-530pm.
I love it here though very relaxing.

You can see the proximity to the Ritz as well.

    Boardwalk is a win win.
Short walk to the beach AND Boardwalk has shad and lounges there for their guests.
The resort is WONDERFUL. Probably the prettiest place on the island.

Jay take some photos and send them to me if you want and I will post.

Thanks Andrea. We walk back from the shops all the time and never saw it. We passed another new hotel off the beach (forgot the name).

Last night was like most nights- dinner back over at the Ritz which I won't bore you with the details other than to say it was amazing again. Today I got up early, went claim our palapa that is in the front row with great views of the beach water. After that I went for a walk to view some of the newer condos that are being built a bit inland- they look nice but more of a walk than I thought. Just finished my morning smoothie which has become my regular breakfast option these days. My wonderful wife cooked some eggs for the little guy and we are getting ready to head to the beach and relax. I brought a book which I don't often do...I actually was very relaxed reading it yesterday and look forward to reading with a drink in my hand starting at about 11am, lol.

Tonight we will be back at the Ritz to celebrate Easter- Happy Easter all. Speaking of Easter the Boardwalk does it right....they delivered a nice Easter Basket with plenty of treats in it.

Sounds like a great Easter Day! Where do you reserve your palapa - at the Boardwalk or at the Ritz since you know people?

Well I just got back from a little walk along the beach after setting up our palapa for the day. Last night we went to Casa Nonna to dine with one of our good friends. The service was incredible but the overall dining experience was not typical for the Ritz/Casa Nonna- I am going to blame it on being basically sold out and they were struggling to get the dishes out quick enough- I don't enjoy meals that take over 2 hours typically and yesterday was no exception, lol. The salad was great but our pasta was undercooked. The Chicken Parm was good. My had the shrimp/pasta dish and was not impressed either. Sons steak was a poor piece of steak as well- overall not great but we did not complain but we would have if we dined someplace else and not with our friend- oh well. We eaten there dozens of times and it was always great- we may just pass on a big holiday as they certainly struggled a bit yesterday.

After dinner we came back and swam in the pool a bit. I decided to just relax in and not head out to the casino as originally planned. Today is going to be another beach day. We have so many leftovers from the past 3 nights we may do lunch in our room today but time will tell. Tonight we may head to the Local Store- we had planned on going with one of our friends but they are short staffed so NO days off this week.

Off to grab my morning fruit smoothie.
